PlayStation 4 finally started getting latest firmware update version 5.0 though it is available only for beta testers for now.

Some of the major changes which you can see in this update are:

Quick Menu: Now users can see the progress of downloads and also check party invites.  Sony has added many new options in the Quick Menu.

PSVR: PSVR now supports for 5.1ch and 7.1 ch virtual sound on headphones, that will diffidently give more immersive experience.

60fps Streaming: NOw users of PS4 Pro can stream videos at 60fps in 1080p resolution.

Parental Control: This update makes parental control more flexible based on the rating of games users of different age group allowing games access.

Notifications: Now PS4 users can disable notifications during video playback. Not only this there is new privacy feature which allows users to hide content and name of the sender in the message of PSN.
